The Alumni Way is almost 5 years old. In that time, the book has taken me to over 30 countries - virtually and in person to share a mission to inspire alumni connection. I have met so many incredible professionals and researchers that share my passion.

One such passionate alumni engagement scholars and leaders is Dr Jay Dillon. We have talked alumni identity, research, even adjudicated awards together. But we have never met in person. Seems strange because I know him so well! Jay is coming to Dublin next month. Instead of letting this moment slip by, we are designing a seminar and workshop for you, the alumni curious, who want to gain insights, strategies and breathe renewed energy into your alumni engagement.

Your challenge this week: Arrange to meet a fellow alumni-facing professional in person (or fellow alum!) for a conversation on your work - ask about their professional development plans and share your best work from past conferences, workshops or seminars that has truly impacted your work. Inspire others over a cup of coffee on a future Alumni Friday!
