What happens when we put alumni at the centre of our work?
At the recent EFMD Conference for Business Schools in Malaga Spain last month, I spoke to a packed room about the importance of Alum from Day One. I used a fun ALUM acronym to explore Awareness - Leadership - Useful Touchpoints (along the student lifecycle) - Mindset to frame a structure for an Alum from Day One strategy for an entire organisation.
Alum from Day One is an essential shift to bring alumni-centricity to our work.

For students/alumni: Is YOUR institution alumni-centric? What could be better? How could your contribution as an alumni volunteer leader help? Reach out to your alumni relations professional in your alma mater and have a conversation!
