Baking in your alumni inspiration
Call for your inspiring alumni stories
Dear passionate alumni friends!
Refreshed from London - The recipe? Two level cups of close connection, a tablespoon of culture, dash of diaspora and a heaping teaspoon of alumni with a pinch of nature (thanks to epic fox sighting in the Kew Gardens!).
This is a special edition of Alumni Friday. It's a call to share YOUR alumni stories. I am looking for snippets of feel-good alumni stories that might answer questions like:
Did you have a traditional career in the 'real world' and then found a fabulous career on campus?
Do you know an alum entrepreneur that gained support for their business through their alma mater?
Do you have an original event or initiative that brings/brought students and alumni together?
Are you a student or alum with an inspiring story of how an alum helped you?
I would love to hear from you!
If you hit reply and offer me some background or book 15 minutes online here I can fill you in once you fill me in!
I look forward to hearing from you - let the alumni momentum continue!
(and that's your simple Alumni Friday challenge this week - short and sweet!)
Let's get baking!
Yours with alumni sweetness,
Maria
Photo: High above the treetops! At Kew Gardens in London earlier this week, I was a bit fearful of looking down. But once I was there, it was magic! Same with your alumni stories, they may seem small or you might not want to share, but climb up and it might be fun after all!
